Hello and Welcome!
The above troupe was formed on the 12th of January 1984 by 15 year old girl named Teresa who to this day still runs the troupe as the leader, teaches new routines every year, chooses new music and still goes out on displays and carnivals with her troupe members.
In 1984 she entered into the Hastings carnival, Eastbourne carnival and Hastings Old Town carnival. She was known as over the moon Teresa as the troupe won first prize in all carnivals that year. Since then she has taken her trip to Germany for 10 years, to the pension hospital at Chelsea for 10 years and to various carnivals, fetes, and done displays all over Hastings, St Leonards and further afield – and still does.
Although being a leader for 40 + years Teresa still works very hard teaching members how to twirl, new routines and put the members through their awards.
All we can say is keep going Teresa, you and your troop still to this day make us proud and we do have a walking stick if you ever need one!
